Armenians and Georgians discuss environmental issues of Teghut

December 14, in Yerevan Congress Hotel, an international conference will be held on Environmental Security Program Operating Teghut copper-molybdenum mine.
As the press service of the Teghut Protection Group informed NEWS.am, representatives of states of Armenia and Georgia, international organizations, as well as representatives of mining companies, financial institutions and public organizations, independent experts and journalists will be attending the conference.
Conference is organized by the Armenian civil initiative of Teghut Protection Group and Georgian NGO Green Alternative. The aim of the conference is to disclose and discuss the concerns of experts and non-governmental organizations associated with the Teghut mine, located near the cross-border river Debed in the territory affected by earthquakes and landslides.
